Slik fungerer induksjon:
Varmen produseres av et elektronisk magnetfelt som går direkte inn i stekepannen/kasserollen. Dette gir øyeblikkelig varme.
Fjerning av stekepannen/kasserollen er nok til å stoppe kokeprosessen.
